Finish setting up Embrace for print 4. Finally read The Dome. It's been sitting in the living room taunting me forever, and I really really want to read it, and argh if I can get the rest of it done, I finally can. And hopefully in the next month or so I'll have the Midsummer stories up, and maybe find time to fix the Wick stories. Anyway, life is pretty much ticking along as it should. I'm still enjoying work and I might have my hours increased over the christmas period, so that's all good. I'm kinda uncomfortable over the whole standing up in Church making promises thing, but I'm still thrilled I got asked. I, I don't even know. I subscribe to the validity of multiple interpretations of a work. I think that this is the underpinning of most modern media fannish (largely female) interaction with our shows. I think it is foolish and irrelevant to tell someone they're interrogating the text wrong. I don't think there is a wrong way to interrogate the text, even if I disagree with your specific conclusions.
